St John's Wood Barrack Sold for £250m to Asian Tycoon

It is now confirmed that the 200 year old Barrack in St John's
Wood has been sold to the second richest man in south Asia. Ananda
Krishnan has acquired the site through his Usaha Tegas Group and
has appointed UK property group London Square as project
manager.
St Johns Wood barracks has been used since 1804 but the King's
Troop Royal Horse Artillery who are the current occupiers are due
to move to Woolwich by early next year.
The 5.5 acre barrack site has planning permission for 74 upmarket
houses and flats, and 59 affordable homes. The site has total
saleable space of 359,000sq ft.
